Where's Ms. Hegstrom??

I left on a leave of absence from October 4-22, 1998. During that time, I participated in the 1998 Fulbright Memorial Fund Teacher Program. Although I was not in the United States for most of that time, I served as a "virtual teacher" while I was gone.

Preparation: Activities at the beginning of the school year prior to departure

Follow On Plan: A requirement of the program. These are activities I hope I can implement with my students as a result of my experience.

Schedule: A brief outline of the activities in which participated while in Japan.

Speeches and Writings:
Yoshiwara Elementary School: Cindy Garwick
Letter to Students at New Milford Public Schools: Eileen Cooper

Activities: I will fill in these web pages as I collect pictures and experiences.
