The October Fulbright Memorial Fund participants have been in
Japan for a week now. We have enjoyed the sights, sounds, tastes,
and smells we have experienced in your beautiful country.
This is our first school visit and we are so excited about being
here with you today. We have so much to learn about education in
Japan and the Japanese culture.
It is wonderful to be in this international setting with a group
of people who celebrate the successes of students. Yesterday the
Vice Governor of the prefecture spoke about developing friendships
with people and we look forward to doing that today.
Thank you for sharing your school, your teachers, and your
students with us.
