As we circle over Tokyo, we fly in rain clouds,but we thought this rainbow was a good sign of things to come! |

After a safe landing, we taxi into Narita Airport in Tokyo. |

Walking up the ramp to the airport, signs in Japanese greet us. |

|

We fill out customs information right after we arrive. |
|
|
|
Then we present our passports to the customs officials. |
|
|

We locate the restrooms....but wonder what they are like inside! |

A sign assures us that we are entering a "western toilet" But what is a JAPANESE toilet like? We are, naturally, curious. |

While waiting, a familiar sight greets me. I think I'll survive now! |

We are led to the bus that will take us to the hotel. |

We are glad to be on the bus, the final leg of today's journey. |

We walk through the beautiful hotel lobby on our way to our rooms. |

Life is good! I get a room with an office area, complete with fax and Internet hookups! I spend a couple of hours online, then CRASH! |
